For any field, those field leaders or management should form members in education board, and devise the curriculum as per the latest requirements, and it should be updated every year. For example, in engineering, all the major company management should form board of members can keep updating the syllabus every year. During my time, whatever I studied in Computer Science Engineering was 90 percent useless for job. Remaining 10 percent was not taught and learnt in an effective manner.
Next thing is, based on the requirements, number of seats should be created in every engineering type. There is no point with most studying in Electrical or Electronic or other engineering to end up working in software jobs.
There are many work which can be done with minimal training, and one need not complete college. College three days with work three days will help one learn and job ready while getting paid to pay the college fees.
Companies can use the college campuses to provide jobs.

When one has to prepare or enhance skills to enhance employability of youth to prepare them for the ever evolving industry led predominantly by IT, the youth needs to be trained and skilled to be ready for the digital workforce. The current NSQF aligned courses might not be the solution to meet the requirements of the IT industry but the courses designed and developed by OEMs like Red Hat, IBM, etc. would be the best suited for employment. Reimagining Skill India 2.0 should include Industry endorsed global standard course curriculum, content, duration and fees.

Skill India Programme will encourage and groom professionals to contribute substantially to India’s industrialization and economic growth. It is estimated that over 400 million women and men in the nation will be made competent in various industrial and trade skills by the year 2022. It is definitely going to be a positive foray to remove poverty, and reducing unemployment on a large scale. Certificates will be delivered to those who complete a particular skill or programme and this certificate has to be accepted by all public and private agencies and entities, including overseas organizations. Skill India is a programme designed for the entire nation.

The success of a nation always depends on the success of its youth and it is the promulgation of Skill India Programme that has paved the way to make India a skilled nation. Skill India Mission, launched on July 15, 2015, by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to encourage the youth of our country with specific skill sets, making them employable and productive in their work environment. Every ministry under the Government of India is engaged in the massive skill India program to train manpower in India.
