Reimagining Skill India 2.0: Inviting creative ideas and suggestions to help reinvent the
landscape of skilling in India

The Government has reimagined Skill India 2.0, understanding the urgent need to create a reliable and qualified workforce. The push is necessary to help the workforce tap into new opportunities so we can look at the future of the world of work and be a part of New India's growth story.

Union Budget 2022 unfolded a vision for a New India, which will be built on a strong skilling ecosystem, robust digital infrastructure and plethora of opportunities. To fulfil this dream, several initiatives have been proposed to boost the skilling sector. They are:
Industry Connect: As India ushers in Industry 4.0, industry linkage becomes important to provide demand-driven industry-relevant training opportunities, bridging the skill gap and facilitating demand-based skilled manpower to industries which would, in turn, add new jobs.

NSQF Alignment: In a bid to bring talent in sync with demand for it, the Government is leaving no stone unturned to renovate the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)and align it with evolving industries.

Digital Skills: The launch of the DESH-stack e-portal will encourage a digital ecosystem for skilling and livelihood and offer solutions to complex challenges in preparing for a skilled country. The Government is also focusing on strengthening the digital skill ecosystem as technical skills like AR/VR, machine learning, and the ability to work with data, including automated systems, become a must-have.

With Drone Shakti and Kisan Drones for crop assessment, digitization of land records, and spraying of insecticides, the country is set to leapfrog to a future-ready world. This opens up innumerable opportunities for both the drone and
agri-tech sectors: a mutually beneficial ecosystem for technology companies and agricultural modernization.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the skill capital of the World.

The last date to submit your entries is 30th June 2022.

we should establish a well schooling system and develop a fast working government . we should encourage people to learn skills and they should not depend on their salaries . they also establish their own basis . judicial work should be fast . really I have bad experience where we filed a civil case but nearly two no action was taken . this shows how our government is has poor working status . encourage people learn new skills and government should take care of their produce as this is a compitative world some of cultures are disappearing . thank you for the opportunity

I think we should re-invent our schooling system. we shd come out of the mentality of conventional schools if we can impart knowledge through online classes , which can be much economical than what present schools r charging then why not the same online school be the future ?? and then convert the big structures of schools into grooming and activity centre for the same students !! or may be skill development centres. This is the best time we can work on restructuring of the schoos. let's think

Another issue of concern is practical education over good goody education, e.g you apply for a job e.g driver of truck, besides driving truck skill, employer expect you how to negotiate with traffic police and rto check post , businessmen will violate some rule and official will cook up non-existing rule to make money. last soft skill how to handle corrupt official is key missing skill and due to morality issue is not taught in school, this is what private-sector employer is looking for. We cannot be blind eye to these kind os skill and this can be learnt through networking as its changing so fast. reading multiple news paper can give some idea

Cont'd--- The vehicles are approved by our Govt based on convincing papers about the spec of the vehicle to our road conditions. My observation trucks plying on European roads have multiple axles with single tyre on each side. The axle which has to transmit engine torque to the road is two tyres on each side makes it four per axle this cannot be changed as the road contact decides the torque transmitted. Now the point is when there are two tyres per side on one Hub both the wheels will rotate together. But on a turning there are two radius for inner wheel & outer wheel this tends to give a tearing action on the road. This is a simple science who will question this is a challenge to our capabilities & the vehicle design from abroad. They follow procedures in their countries. Why there's a change when it comes to us. My view is bad roads more fuel consumption. Unless there's a primary change or concrete roads this will continue.

Whether it's skill India 2 inviting creative ideas or IISF with swadeshi spirit in science & technology is great thing to happen for progress of the country. Any change begins only when you question yourself whether it's right,is it optimum does it need to change. Applying thought is progress of science. Just for an example we are second highest automobile manufacturers of the world. The component design drawings material spec comes from abroad & you have to strictly follow the procedure laid down. To change the component to our design & spec needs approval & is a challenge. How many have capabilities in proving with all technical & scientific explanations with experience decides the progress of the country. Everyday we see large multi axle trucks carrying goods. Everyone knows good roads give good mileage for trucks as well for other vehicles. We see bad roads near bends, circles steep ups. We blame the road laying, weather conditions or say due to heavy traffic. The vehl- contd --
