Hon'ble Prime Minister Sir, The decades old corrupt MES (Military Engineering Services)needs to be revamped on war footing as it concerns security of our nation. Corrupt and inefficient department coupled with corrupt lobby of old contractors is not only costing the NATION dearly in terms of quality and safety, the ex-chequer is paying a heavy price too. A Rs.100/- job is costing MES Rs. 150/- plus and taking time that is 5 times more as compared to the private sector.
