One of the biggest issues in Inflation and the people who are artificially creating it. For e.g. when you take a house on rent in Mumbai for 2-3 years, the standard clause that the agents insist putting in the agreement is " For the subsequent year, the rent payable will be 10% higher". This is irrespetive of the true market condition. This way, the agent ensures that the rental cost always escalates and doubles in 5-6 years. This must be controlled by the government. This is just one example but you encounter such situations in many other areas as well.

I run a small software development company. Today, the Information Technology industry in India is concentrated in a few cities. On the other hand, benefits of Information Technology are yet to percolate to smaller businesses and professionals to a good extent. A modular software development approach can help bridge this gap. A successful pilot concluded recently makes us more confident. Would the government be interested in looking at this possibility of entrerpreneurship and job creation?

For Mumbai, a big boost to local employment will be the tourism sector. Currently, a police license under section 33 of the Mumbai Police Act is a must. A VERY DIFFICULT AND UNNECESSARY PROCESS. Hence, Mumbai does not have any B&B lodges in the list maintained by Incredible India and MTDC. Both have a good scheme but is not practical The permission for the B&B lodging should be left to Incredible India and MTDC as they have regulations. Mumbai Tourism will be economical and local will get jobs.

For Mumbai, a big boost to local employment will be the tourism sector. Lodging by Bed & Breakfast in residential areas should be permitted. Currently, a police license under section 33 of the Mumbai Police Act is a must. A VERY DIFFUCLT AND UNNECESSARY PROCESS. The permission for the B&B lodging should be left to MTDC as they have regulations. This way, tourists will find economical to stay and local people will get employment too. Best wishes, Kishore Nair from Mumbai

Government can pursue the Ganga- Kaweri river linkage plan aggressively to boot the economy. This will take our water management infrastructure in the higher orbit the way golden quadrilateral plan did to our roads infrastructure.

Very much impressed to see presence of women officers in RD parade. The shortage of officers in the armed forces can be overcome by inclusion of the women in the fighting branches. Nato countries are already following this. It will give a boost to narishakti campaign and strengthen defence of the nation.
