Satna has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The Municipal Corporation is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Satna hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Satna for making ‘Satna a smart city’. The residents may post their views pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, sanitation, including solid waste management, urban mobility and public transport, affordable housing, especially for the poor, robust IT connectivity and digitalization, good governance, especially e-Governance and citizen participation, sustainable environment, safety and security of citizens, particularly women, children and the elderly, health and education and others. Residents are encouraged to write the problem areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Satna a model smart city.
