Voltage fluctuations and motor tripings, particularly in industries connected to rural feeders is a big cause of poductivity losses.
Monitoring of the same should be made and recorded so that the protective actions may be taken at SubStation level.

All consumer electronic meters should also display the electricity availability in hours for the past month, as well as cumulative current month value.
This will verify the claims of DisComs about the supply continuity and reliability.

Number of E.B. lands are encroached by several parties but they are unnoticed by the concerned E.B. Board. For example in KUNDAH DAM in Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu in Survey No. 1029/1,2,3,4 of Balacola II village around 15 Hectares worth of Rs. 7 to 8 Crores has been encroached by single party. The Dam authorities are unaware of this land and searching for other suitable land for desilting the Dam. The desilting work was postponed after sanction of 30 crores in the year 2015.
