However, after separation of
supply function from distribution function the consumer has to approach different
agencies for each of these services

At present a prospective consumer can avail supply by approaching a single licensee. Same
is the case for enhancement of load etc. For issues related with supply quality or billing
issues also the same licensee is answerable at present

Sir,
Submitted for your perusal
1. No free Electricity for even the poor / poor farmers. Poor can be given at a concessional rate
2. Those with Pan card should not be given any concession
3. Renewable energy should be motivated. State Govts not interested in implementing any relief given to make people suffer
4. Heavy power fluctuation in TN resulting in heavy loss to public as well as govt.
5. Farmers bribe to the tune of Rs.5 lakhs to get free electricity and to get priority in TN

every renewable energy source should be distributed to the common man as cable tv... no of houses equal to no of meters. solar power and wind energy solution to be distributed to all slum dwellers and rural areas .. likely to be put on terraces of houses or face of vertical buildings ... 50% energy requirement should be met through these ... with subsidy by govt it is possible .. like ujjwala yojana... solar panel in every home and every village .. jai hind

I would like to state that ... no electric bill should be charged to all people below poverty line or whose annual income is less than 2.5 lacs per annum. However in view of citing losses by the stakeholders .. we can charge commercial establishments all the amount. energy panchayats should be formed like jal panchayats. and if electricity is generated from any region that regions bill should be waived including msmes. factories may be urged to produce their own electricity.
