Dear Prime Minister
Ensure the crux of the amendment is transparent as under;
1) State Governments can provide Free electricity to vulnerables and subsidised rate to farmers/industry
2) No DBT should be discouraged
3) No payout should be made by Government to DISCOMs
4) State Government should directly transfer amount directly to Finance corporations from whom power generating companies has taken loan
5) Entire aspect should be Audited under supervision of CAG
This will be a great reform

In most small cities,blocks in bihar,(I hvno information of other state)people have fixed meter system ,rural India part shld be redefined,for better tax collection.
Can be done by electricity board , without announcing all around, industry in bihar shld get subsidy, shld be increased on their profit, subsidy can be collected later when few years later on profit wat they make accordingly

All the electricity supply and purchase agreements must have force majure clause and during any type of natural calamity or disaster e.g. COVID19
In any such unfortunate circumstances interest of both the parties under these agreements can be safe guarded.

if all the electricty wires and transformers and in other words grid could be privatised so that other private company could enter into a competion to supply through that wire/grid so that rate or tarifs could be reduced and efficiency could be increased and Losses could be minimised
As giving subsidies is not a solution as the company use to show losses to get subsidy
and through this we could identify vunrable sactions and subsidy then could be given to them as dbt/other mediums

Electricity Bill should be pre paid rather than postpaid like Dish Tv.Govt should privatize such sector with minimal regupations aa govt seems to inefficient..There should be control on rate by the govt.
