Ayruevda getting scientific validation is a done using the wrong methods in India. The Chinese policy toward TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Acupuncture were to validate their medicines/practices through clinical trials, collect documentation, prepare scientific articles and documentation (to convince the Western scientific community) and make it Evidence-Based Medicine, since 1949. As early as 1972, WHO policy guidelines on Traditional and Alternative Medicine suggested that it can not be tested or proved in lab based environments by analysing the active ingredients. Since these medicines are existing for many centuries is a proof in itself about its efficacy to cure human health issues. But, we are unfortunately following the wrong direction with lab tests and even using animals (like rats/mice and guinie pigs!!).
