To avoid black money in India, I propose to keep expiry date on high value currency notes like Rs 2000/- notes. People cannot preserve them for long duration without circulating them in the regular economy. I hope this will give a great solution to curb black money problems in India. It do not require any bureaucratic actions like income tax rides etc. to unveil black money. With expiry date people have to exchange the high value notes with banks such that black money can be accounted easily in a regular process. We can use the current digital technology to keep exchange kiosks inorder to exchange the expired notes easily. The cost incurred on this expiry note exchange system can be obtained by levying minimum service charge on the exchange procedure without creating any burden on government kitty.
