The strings of India's development have been inseparably attached to the success of its Textiles sector. The industry's symbiotic relationship with agriculture widens the range of beneficiaries.

•4.5 crore people are directly employed while another 6 crores are indirectly in this sector with a considerable stake of women and rural population.

•5% of the global trade in textiles and apparel is to India's credit.

•India's centuries-old knowledge and expertise in this sector have positioned it as the world's 2nd largest manufacturer and exporter with a 12% share in total exports (2018-19).

And now we, at the Textiles Ministry have our sights set on achieving global leader status for India. Government under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has been pushing for innovation and incentives to realise the mission of Aatmanirbhar Bharat by bolstering exports, quality & productivity, competitiveness, technology up-gradation, research & development, and training & skill development in this industry.

Now, we are keen to listen to the suggestions of Industry experts, innovators, students, business leaders, and all other contributors to this sector to expedite our mission. As we mark the 75th year of India's Independence, we want you to have an increased stake in the success of the Textiles industry.

Needs to be focus on embroidery design,on Indian culture, and as well as Rural Women group needs to setup adequate free government training on tailoring, this will focus on employment and as well as Revolution on the textile industry, and apart from some of the cities having niche cottage industries,it should be merged along with textile industries

भारतीय कपड़ो को सही व उच्च स्तर पर प्रचार और प्रसार नही मिल रहा है , विदेशी कपड़े मॉल व शोरूम में बिकते है और देशी कपड़े फुटपाथ पर , जिससे सभ्य शिक्षित वर्ग खरीदने में संकोची होता है । अपने ही व्यापारी विदेशी कपड़ो को प्रोत्साहन दे रहे है जबकि देशी कपड़ो को नाकार रहे है । देशी कपड़ो को सही बाजार उपलब्ध करवाने की आवश्यकता है । नामी गिरामी लोगो को आगे आना चाहिए और अपना कपड़ा क्षेत्र व्यवसाय को प्रोत्साहित करना चाहिए ।

jindagi mein hamesha acche kam karo jisse aap logon donon kam aaye aur aisa mat karo ki koi tumhari burai Karen aur tumhara ghamand choor choor Karen aur hamesha saccha aur acche banke chalu hamari yahi prerak karti hai aur jindagi mein dusron ko sirf do to sahi se do aur hamesha Satya bimar ko chalo kyunki Jo Satya Marg ko chalta hai vah mera sukhi Rahe chuki hi rahata hai

improve and support with grant n facility our readymade jeans sector to give China a run for it money as currently it is highest jean manufacturing country of world. i as a manufacturer know we can give better quality product than china need govt support. create a mkt for us . snall manufacturer like us can export our products worldwide also if proper guidance is provided by govt to us. thank you.

hello sir, For the customers to buy a particular product is the quality and type of cloth they make,in India ,the population is huge ,for all the citizens to afford all types of cloth is not possible so in order to increase our textile production and also thinking about citizens regular salary ,amenities to workers is needed,if this is possible more amount of ppl would work producing more amount of prodcution ,in this way both the requirements would be fullfilled ,the lack of employment
