Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

Respected Prime Minister, Defence minister and CDS as we all know that situation at China Border is critical and we lost many jawans in recent clashes in galwan. We need strong and cost efficient setup to prevent Chinese troops from entering I recommend you to install HHTI (Hand held thermal imager) and BFSR (battle field surveillance radar) to avoid trespassing at LAC. The command should be well updated about border area for that we need more UAVs these are my suggestion. thank you and Jai hind

सविधान पर विस्वास करने वाले भारतीय नागरिको के प्रकरण 10-15 सालों से उच्च न्यायालयों तथा उच्चतम न्यायालयों सुनवाई हेतु लंबित हें न्याय की प्रतीक्षा में कई लोगो की मृत्यु हो चुकी, कई लोग रिटायर हो गए, लेकिन न्याय नहीं मिला, आपसे अनुरोध हे इस छैत्र में त्वरित कार्यवाही करने की कृपा करें.

Respected PM sir Everybody knows we have a good defence budget but even though our complete army dose'nt have •bullet proof shield •a strong helmet that is required • more powerful but indigenous weapons • Maximum number of UN mission for better ability •many posting are harder to reach so a transportation system that minimise traveling time Not only armed forces but the forces under home ministry also be touched under this And even more I'm just 15 now , in my knowledge thats all

I suggest that more steps should be taken to counter the menace of drones and UAVs. (Some kinds of shells could be used that opens a net when in range of the flying object). More research should be emphasized on small arms and Multiple Rocket Launchers like Pinaka.

Hon'ble prime minister , Happy greetings from the future of india (youth ) I feel that regarding budget we should spend more money not only on our missiles and nuclear bombs but also on the safety of our soldiers they are one because of whom we are alive we should spend more money on their safety during a war by giving High quality bullet proof jackets and better safety equipments . Also we should have a separate budget to give money to families who have lost their children in war .
