Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

Honerable Prime Minister Sir, First I think there is need to Free of cost education for all and also need to closes all the Scholarship schemes. Second I think if any person filling GST return then for that person there no need to file the income tax return separately make the system for collecting income tax return by GST return. Third I think Need to promote growth of agro based Industries, better access to markets for farmers and creation of job opportunities for every individual.

Require most efficient Intellectuals Talented well-educated Responsible Intelligence personalities for Defence sector in India with innovative ideas to make India best. For that reason authority or the ministry has to hire experts nation dedicated from the different fields may be they are common citizens, private staffs, self-employed to make India best with experts whatever they have designation or not.

According to me There are several places where we have to focus on defense. first being a strong country we should be able to replace lost equipment. Right now it takes us more than a decade to produce an aircraft carrier where it should just take nearly 5-7 years. secondly our soldiers should be equipped with better weapons as the INSAS is getting outdated by every single day. We should try to make deals for producing AK or AR rifles to be done in India, helping our economy and saving money.

With efficient Leadership, there is no need for NGO and individual citizens to procure weapons- moreover, the same has been abused and militancy has been encouraged [even without use of weapons]. Basic self-defence is Education syllabi for each citizen
