As always, PM Narendra Modi looks forward to sharing his thoughts on themes and issues that matter to you. The Prime Minister invites you to share your ideas on topics he should address on the 37th Episode of Mann Ki Baat.

My question suggestion is regarding GST. Businesses which file returns under composition scheme -turnover between 20 lakhs to 1 crore- at 5%. Should the GST they should be collecting from customers be at 5% or 18%? I went to hair cutting saloon which was charging GST @ 18%. Given the type of business it is unlikely that their tunrover is above 1 crore. Shouldn't their be an audit mechanism of such businesses which file returns under composition scheme to check their invoices?

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी, मैं देश के विकास के लिए गर्व से टैक्स का भुगतान करता हूँ। मान्यवर लेकिन में एक धूर्त बिल्डर आम्रपाली के समक्ष असहाय हूँ जिसने मुझे मेरी जिंदगी भर की कमाई लेकर ठग लिया है। मैंने मार्च 2014 में आम्रपाली वेरोना हाइट्स ग्रेटर noida west u.p में अपनी मेहनत की कमाई से पाई पाई जोड़ के बेंक लोन लेकर घर बुक किया था। मुझे आशा है के आपको ये सब ज्ञात है। में उम्मीद रखता हूँ के आप मेरे दुख की तरफ अपनी कृपा दृष्टि बनाएंगे और मुझे मेरा घर मिलेगा आपका देशवासी, अनिल कुमार गौतम

Dear PM sir,I am a common citizen who feels pride in paying tax for development of my country. However, I am helpless against the fraud builder Amrapali who has duped me with my life long savings. I booked a home in Amrapali Verona heights in September 2013 hoping to have my dream home. I know you are aware of the situation however, I am disappointed with your silence on this. Dear Sir, With the monsoons ending the farmers need to be guided to produce higher yield of crops with half the resources which will make the country stronger in fiscal terms. PLEASE FIND the link to an article in which Holland has exported the most agriculture produce of potato onions and tomato using science and technology.
