A Committee of Experts under the Chairmanship of Shri. Kris Gopalakrishnan has been constituted vide OM No. 24(4)2019- CLES on 13.09.2019 to deliberate on Non-Personal Data Governance Framework. The committee drafted its report which was published for Public feedback/suggestions were been sought by 13th September 2020. Based on the public feedback/suggestions, the Expert Committee has revised its earlier report and a revised draft report has been prepared for the second round of public feedback/suggestions. The feedback will help the committee finalize the report.

Non personal data is one example requires a contineous update of population by citizens, gender ,immigrants, birth and death records update, by state ,by district ,by profession, age , income status,insurence coverage , dependents etc This data will enable for good governance , for civil supply demands , health and education institutions, travel and transport facilities, welfare and security measures along with resource management and for employment opportunities.plan for production orient indu

Q) What is non-personal data? A) While order details collected by a food delivery service will have the name, age, gender, and other contact information of an individual, it will become non-personal data if the identifiers such as 'name' and 'contact information' are taken out.
