Manthan is a digital platform developed by the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India to promote collaboration at scale between industry and the scientific research and innovation ecosystem to help meet India’s national targets and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This platform aims to empower various stakeholders to scale up the interactions with researchers/innovators and facilitate R&D/innovation, share challenges focused on emerging technologies, other scientific interventions, as well as those with a social impact.

Office of Principal Scientific Adviser is pleased to launch a competition to pick the minds of all Indians on “Role of Manthan in empowering women entrepreneurs and startups to scale up innovation for a larger social impact”.
The objective of this competition is to capture intriguing insights about how Manthan is making a difference in Scientific research and innovation ecosystem.

This competition is open to all Indian nationals registered with MyGov, age no bar.
Word Limit for the Idea:
• The idea should be within the 500* word limit.
• The idea should not exceed the word limit. This would lead to disqualification.

Last date for submission of the entries will be 30th April 2023.

Sir, Really appreciate your govt.'s efforts for women empowerment. But, just like .... *"diapers cannot solve the problem of diarrhea"* similarly, no amount of manthan/webinars/seminars would do much good unless root cause is addressed & resolved... Kindly, first call out such communities that believes women are: 1. made from men's ribs, 2. made primarily to reproduce, 3. Should be covered like a candy. etc etc etc... Such "so called religions" should be called as *anti women and anti constitutional...* As other men/women from the same communities (due to continuous brainwashing) will pull the aspiring women down... Also, Just like... *"one bad fish destroys whole pond"* similarly, drawback of such anti women communities is that it also have negative impact on other resonable communities due to lower benchmarking/ threshold... Request to at least ban the anti women, anti constitutional portion of so called religions and create an equal opportunity platform for women...

Expressing respect for every woman for their contribution & guidance to society in India,inference points out that economic inclusion is the most important step towards women empowerment.Innovation is seconds away at work in progress.Teething of experience with digitisation is the best example of trade coming to terms with disruptions.Entrepreneurship deals with uncertainty.The first point noted is to create a secure ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.Every aspiration ends with capability to walk the talk and navigate the way.Obsession with size is an irrelevant fashion,[The preceeding statement is public information].Entrepreneurs need to be educated regarding the art of management. In times when news is talking about millions and in dollars, India needs to think in terms of rupee.Business is not fashionable, and the burden of a first generation entrepreneur is unparalleled.The unique attributes of a business and management is subjected to test of time, rules & metrics are the same.

Mathan is a digital platform is similar to Amazon & Flipkart site on line services where the women enterprises can contact a large number of buyers . When Amazon & Flipkart is selling branded all goods & service this Mathan digital platform is selling non branded village goods and services to a large number of buyers is helping rural population to utilise this digital platform in large way solar like Amazon & Flipkart site . At present this site products had to purchased by big business units like Lulu and tata group to show their support as a part of women empowerment in India . Such big company support if they get by this site , the buyer can get the goods directly from a producers rather than from any other group makes it adaptable in all states of India linking buyers and sellers like in Amazon and Flipkart sites

like in state buses where few seats reserved for womens... looking at some current incidents can't we request , Airlines/Railways to reserve few seats in one section predesigned for single ladies traveller?

For womens startups is always dreams. Because of many of the reasons. Main reason is capital investment. For getting loan there must need some security. But as a middle class woman she is not have any own land to give security. so it is not possible to get loan

India women empowerment starts long year before in society to the widows of India warrior soldier who died in young aged & leaving there wife & children in despair. In every ground operation many soldiers passed away and the country support the family ,wife, children jobs ,business like petrol / fuel pumps and other support by means of rehabilitation centers. There are many family in India like in Army who live in despair & the government program for empowerment of women's is a support to all women's who are in great loss and are facing lot of problems in social life . This program is a real support to all those women in despair and will make every women to come forward in real life to be a valiant wife of warriors, nationalist , people of India . Like Army had made the women's to be valiant wife of warring soldiers ,today many women's get such support outside the army who can be operating a petrol / fuel pump or any units done like the valiant wife of warring soldiers in real life
