Manthan helps women become both socially and financially independent. Through skill-based learning, Manthan helps the women learn new skills like tailoring, farming, food production, etc. They also help in girl child education by conducting campaigns to encourage parents, especially in rural areas, to send their daughters to school.

In ancient Hindu India, women were treated as equals with men and honored in the society and were addressed as "Janani" i.e. Mother. With the Advent of Mughal Invasions, women lost empowerment, as the Burka culture and Women's role as only female Progenitors in the society, took away the empowerment enjoyed in Hindu societies. Again with the advent of British Invasion and Hindu Cultural defamation, by highlighting the defects more than the positive aspects, role of Macauley in destroying the Gurukul system, Sanskrit language and local cottage industry, made even the men in India under the British less empowered. The Indian men's only status was in learning English and being a slave clerk to the British. With the Economic empowerment seen due to DBT money transfer and more loans through Mudra Yojana, Women in India are breathing the economic freedom. Though 18% of the Indian women were contributing to the GDP though their potential is $770 billion in 2025 as per Mckinsey report of 2018.

Women should be treated equally. Loan should be provided for startup’s, women should be encouraged to attend workshops and seminars which would help them to understand, develop and grow their business.Help in the form of planning and executing the policies should be shared.

The word ‘Women Empowerment’ itself implies that women are not powerful enough - they need to be empowered. This painful truth has been in existence for a long long time. It is in recent years that noticeable work started beginning to lift women out of the abyss of insignificance and powerlessness. The patriarchal society suppressed women’s freedom across the world. Women were not allowed to vote or even put forward any opinion. Women were confined to their homes. As time progressed, they realised that their life meant much more than just serving in the household. As more and more women started crossing the man-made barriers, the world began to witness the rise of women. Unlike men, women never try to stifle the voice of their opposite gender. They hold the hands of all the downtrodden people - men and women both - and they pull them out of misfortune as they try to improve their lives.

Vanitha Sangrash on manthan platform is like metamorphosis of milk into various forms. It is well said that change has to come from home and the right person for that is mother, sister, aunt or wife is the first person to initiate. We had many examples in our country where gender is no bar in success of entrepreneurship. It is only act and action which can make things possible.
