India has the opportunity to significantly enhance the sustainability of electric vehicles (EVs) through strategic investment in green infrastructure. By prioritizing the expansion of EV charging infrastructure, integrating it with renewable energy sources, and promoting the development of green charging hubs, India can reduce the carbon footprint associated with EVs. Additionally, incentivizing battery recycling and reuse, electrifying public transportation fleets, and integrating EV infrastructure into sustainable urban planning initiatives can further support this transition. Policy support, including incentives for EV adoption and regulations promoting green infrastructure deployment, is crucial for creating an enabling environment.

In these days, the main lacking for the electric vehicle with respect of engined vehicle is the peoblem of charging. In engined vehicle in lesser time we can refill fuel but this option is not available in electric vehicle. This problem can be managed if battery stores for the vehicle can work as our gas distribution network. Any one can change the battery by paying only charging charges. One stepany battery slot will also be helpful. A owner has option to switch the battery and in between he can refill his vehicle. In this can long journey can also be possible. Now a days electric vehicle is only moving in small area because the owner has charging and charging time in his mind. If we can sort out this issue then EV will roll on the higgways for long journeys. In these case no need of waiting for long time.

The electric charging systems should be provided next to vehicle parking facilities in residential premises. The vehicles are mostly parked from late evening to early morning in majority of the cases . if charging mechanism is available there then charging will be hassle free and will prompt user to adopt. High rise building in urban areas should have charging facility at each parking slot in the building. All public transport depots can utilise their surplus land to create a charging array which can be used by public as well as private users. The existing liquid and gas refueling station do not have adequate space
