Under the ‘Smart Cities’ mission, various smart and innovative works would be under-taken in various sectors such as drinking water system, sewerage, sanitation, SWM, public ...

Under the ‘Smart Cities’ mission, various smart and innovative works would be under-taken in various sectors such as drinking water system, sewerage, sanitation, SWM, public transport, storm water drains, parks, community hall, roads, flyover and others.

Agra Municipal Corporation has started doing innovation for improving the quality of life of citizens; like LED lighting, Solid waste management , Property Tax Collection etc. Recently, Agra Municipal Corporation was Awarded for successful implementation of LED Light project. AMC also start to collect household mobile numbers and e-mail id to send information about tax dues and tax collection electronically.

Under this Mission preparation of SMART City Plan and formulate its own unique vision and strategies through citizen‘s& stakeholder’s views and suggestion on Smart City. Agra Municipal Corporation requests all to share their ideas, suggestions, vision and innovative solutions and grab this opportunity to be a part of this challenge to transform Agra into SMART CITY.

Citizens are requested to suggest innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions for the Area Based Strategies:

• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in an existing built-up area);
• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure);
• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas) and also viable
• PAN City Initiative.

Agra Municipal Corporation is looking forward for valuable suggestions from all the citizens of Agra.

The last date to submit your suggestions/ comments is 30th November, 2015.

People's of the city should be well aware of all the thing concerning for safety security and cleanliness , inmates should be made aware of that by all means and further put a fine in case of non-compliance of the same strictly,that will impact quickly. Traffic police and Rto suppose to cancel the license in case of non following of traffic rules by the persons, that causes the accident in many cases. we also need to introduce a smart city app where all information updates is to b done

Waste management is a very important aspect for any SMART CITY. I propose that Municipal concept be dismantled and the Govt have to take some action against them if the rules not followed

Proper Law & Order is need to be implemented, which is pathetic currently, no hearing is there system is hanged drastically need a quick reform, simultaneously roads and traffic should be well planned as open gutters, sevage and puddles accounts major accident particularly at night and in winters,No first aid provided that causes loss of life of our dear ones or major injury. Accountability of each govt or non-govt orga. or its officers should be there at each level as remedial requirement

parking facilities needed specially for old markets like near jamamaszid, kinari bazar, subhash bazar, daresi, belanganj, fubbara. parking should be develop ppp model if space not available. city should be free Hoarding. as a international tourist city its seen bad everywhere big-big hoardings n causes of encroachments. whole agracity should be seen same color paint. we have two colors of all monuments tajmahal white n redfort is red so everyone should paint red or white frontportion of hous

Regular cleaning of roads and severage. MG road should be model road. Fly over on MG road is must. Thelas and small shops should be removed from this road. Proper bus stops should be there so that all circles remain traffic less.

Agra has two most important Problems at 1st level: 1- Traffic management & Public Transportation System and 2- Solid waste management; and two at 2nd level: a.-Drainage system and b.- Streetscape. To achieve this besides Governmental intervention, public also must be educated through video insertions in Cinema Theatres, and electronic display boards in public areas. Also, Students at schools & colleges must be educated through lectures and exhibitions. I am an educationist willing to contribute.
