Dahod city has been shortlisted under the Government of India’s flagship programme “Smart Cities Mission”. Under the mission, Dahod Nagar Palika (DNP) shall participate in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. As part of this, DNP is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP). SCP will include smart city solutions based on the consultations to be held with the key stakeholders of the city. DNP hereby invites the suggestions from citizens of Dahod to make ‘Dahod as a smart city’. Residents can post their ideas/suggestion pertaining to smart solutions in infrastructure services such as water supply, waste water recycling and conservation, energy management, sanitation including solid waste management, efficient urban mobility, robust IT connectivity and digitization, safety and security of citizen particularly women & elderly, smart street lighting, public Wi-Fi network, smart parking, development of non-motorized transport, sustainable environment, intelligent traffic management, health and education services using IT enabled smart applications, innovative use of open spaces or any other feature related to city infrastructure and services identifying creative and innovative solutions to common urban challenges.

The citizens are invited to explore their ideas to make this mission inclusive and meaningful for every common man, every citizen and transform this vision of “Smart City Dahod” into reality.

Smart cities are those who manage their resources efficiently. Traffic, public services and disaster response should be operated intelligently in order to minimize costs, reduce carbon emissions and increase performance. AND I WANT THIS TYPE OF MY SWEET DAHOD

On this grt day 2 oct i suggest concerned authorities to save nature and natural resources while developing my dahod a smart city. I also suggest robust planning of city after consulting all concerned NGOs;govt and dahodians on one plateform. Save trees plant more trees avoid plastic rather ban plastic bags and all that needed to keep my city dahod a clean and neat smart city.We r really proud of historic dahod.

First of all clean city project should be taken under consideration. A big town hall should be developed Parking rules must be strict.

AS near about 30% people of India are poor and illiterate, and don't know how to live healthy and hygienic so they shit everywhere and they don't want to shit inside the govt. sauchalayas, and they live near to the road side and they live there as if its they are home, they do many kind of stuffs which is unbearable,but we cant change them, but we can help them by providing them home like in a well established way, like the way American govt. do for the poor
