besides what our PM has proposed- Swachh Bharat, digital India, focus on girl child etc. Smart city should become role model in implementing these ideas.
Best wishes. I hope "Smart Dharwad" will pull back many people like me who have left Dharwad.

in Hubli. Children from schools of all 3 districts should be able to visit this museum/lab.
5.The success of smart city will depend on jobs it creates for its young people. City should become hub of economic activities and employment. Young people should see their future in smart cities. Economic zones based on raw materials available, crops grown and skills of youth in the area should be encouraged. A good Career guidance centre should be available for youth.

their work? Dharwad should become to its tens of great men and women, what Startford upon Evon has become for Shakespeare. There should be big complex that showcases the work of D.R.Bendre, Mallikarjun Mansoor, Gangubai Hangal,Basavraj Rajguru,Girish Karnad,V.K.Gokak, Chandrashekhar Kambar, Channavir Kanavi etc. Visitors should be able to read, hear and watch their work. This should come up in Dharwad. For education of children, a large multi subject laboratory/museum should come up ...

I have following suggestions for Hubli-Dharwad smart city:
1. Hubli should be developed further as city of "commerce" and Dharwad should be developed further as city of " Culture".
2.A smart city in my opinion should become a hub for Commerce, Culture and Career.
3. Hubli is already a well known trade Center, but it has become so by dafault. It should now develop structured, well thought out markets for goods and services produced in Dharwad,Haveri and Gadag districts.
