Glad to know that Hubballi-Dharwad twin city has been selected for smart city project. Free Internet facility should be provided atleast at the major public places of the city so that more number of people can get connected and access internet while they are at work. Many people come to Hubballi daily from nearby villages to work, Hubballi has a good railway station but it would be better if it is facilitated with free internet for passangers and visitors.

It is our great opportunity that Hubli is selected for smart city. And my suggestion is to make wide and better roads and grow trees beside roads so that air pollution can be controlled.

Very happy to know that hubli-dharwad has been selected for smart city project. one of the important problem faced by city is waste management. instead of dumping wastes we could make use of it in other ways such as power generation, bio fertilizers etc. we could separate organic wastes and create methane gas which inturn can be used in public transport system such as CNG driven local buses which is way better than diesel driven buses.

Hubli dharwad is no doubt the top contender for the smart city project as it is geographically located and connected to all the major towns and states now the need arises to make it smarter that is with a cycling track and improved traffic laws and creation of parking lots resulting the reduction of sound and air pollution

Having better roads that are wide enough to accommodate the ever-growing numbers of cars/bikes would be a great gift to the cities of Hubli and Dharwad. The new BRTS would definitely be a boon to solve the traffic menace. Sidewalks also need to be given attention to as I don't any good sidewalk in the cities.

#1 REGULAR (daily) REMOVAL of GARBAGE from HDMC DUSTBINS.. I have seen HDMC DUSTBINS stinking with garbage as they are not removed daily. # MORE and MORE INSTALLATION of DUSTBINS at All Parts of city should be made. # CLEAN & ACCESSIBLE DUSTBINS and STRICT ORDER encourages people to use HDMC DUSTBINS instead of dumping on roadside which is a major problem in Hubli- Dharwad as it affects the health of people as well as nature.
