Pasighat located on the banks of the Siang river has vast potential for growth as Smart city.It has good connectivity by road & in near future within a year or two by train & air.It is the Rice bowl of Arunachal Pradesh & there is neverending vast stretches of land for agricultural occupation in Maryam & Jampani areas.Pasighat has also a rich history connected with the British regieme which is testified by many War memorials near Pasighat. SMART CITY PASIGHAT,JEWEL OF ARUNACHAL.

pasighat being the first centurian old town of a.p has been blessed with the central govt initiated smart city scheme. tysm for the care you have bestowed upon us NAMO ;) just letting you know that this is the only chance for arunachal pradesh to pull back and regain its motion towards development. psg being located far north east near china is still in need to see the proper electricity, proper roads, infrustructures, plannings . hopefully this SC scheme makes a difference. make it to top 20

*There is great scope for developing food processing industries due to increasing production of Agricultural and Horticultural products in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh. At least we must ensure that there are enough facilities for storage of these products for longer duration.

Introduction of alternative renewable power supply like solar and wind energy would seem like a viable option (apart from many) for the development of smart Pasighat city. Abundant clean water and power supply are the basic necessities for any developed cities/countries. Although proper supply of clean water could be compromised to some extent, Pasighat seem to be lacking Big time on proper power supply at the moment.
