Smart Cities focus on their most pressing needs and on the greatest opportunities to improve lives. They tap a range of approaches - digital and information technologies, urban planning best practices, public-private partnerships, and policy change - to make a difference. They always put people first.

for any smart city, waste disposal should be taken care off at first. People are buying land/plot as an investment and then letting other people put rubbish and waste material in that vacant plot. This needs to be stopped by putting a law in place that once you have bought a plot/land, you should build a building/house/etc and somebody should occupy it also.

"Ek smart city ka matlab ye nahi ki uchi uchi building bana di road vagarah bana di wifi lagva diya ....... smart city smart logo se banti hai agar log hi smart nahi honge to smart city banne ke baad vohi log city ko bekaar bana denge.

City can only be smart when all it's people and infrastructure are smart. Making people aware and smart is a big task. What govt can do is develop futuristic infrastructure with the comprehensive view using modern technology.

We all are not so much rich to hire a security guard as the celebrities do. Other issues are also important but i dont think that there may be any importance of RO water with unsecured family.

"Rourkela as an educational hub must think of coaching students and their safety. Like- 1. Introduction of bicycle lane along side of major roads across the city, 2. Installation of CCTV cameras all over the city especially at tourist spots, along major roads, near coaching area etc. 3. Smart cabs owned by Rourkela Municipal Corporation itself because you know very well how Autotaxi drivers take advantage of travelling during night. I mean there must be some norms to be followed.
