The Government of lndia has launched an ambitious "Smart Cities Mission" to promote cities that provide core infrastructure and a good quality of life to its citizens, a clean and sustainable environment with the application of 'Smart' Solutions'. The Government of India have identified Warangal as one of the 100 cities to participate for the smart city challenge.

In this context, the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) is in the process of preparing the Smart City Proposal. The GWMC seeks valuable suggestions of the citizens to formulate the vision for the Smart City Warangal.

A strategic vision shapes a preferred future for a city. A successful vision has economic, spatial, social and environmental dimensions that reflect a city’s unique physical and cultural traits; it provides direction for the activities of the Corporation, citizens and stakeholders; and ensures that citizens, city agencies, and stakeholders are working towards those shared sub-goals. The vision statement should inspire our city’s residents and can even become the branding for our smart city.

The Smart City Advisory Forum of Warangal shall evaluate the vision statement and award the best three entries.

3- रोज़गार के अवसरों को बढ़ाने हेतू समुचित उपाय किये जाएँ। नौकरियों का आकर्षण समाप्त किया जाये। बचपन से ही स्व-रोज़गार हेतू प्रेरित किया जाये और उन्हें वैसी ही शिक्षा उपलब्ध भी कराई जाये। उद्योगों हेतू नियम बिलकुल आसान हो। केवल कम्प्यूटर पर एक फॉर्म भरना जितना आसान हो । मुश्किल से ५ मिनट में स्वीकृति हो जानी चाहिए। हर काम में सरकारी उलझनों को समाप्त किया जाना चाहिए ।

2- सभ्य नागरिकों पर यदि दण्ड की नीति का कठोरता से पालन किया जाता है तो वो उद्दण्ड और उच्श्रंखल नागरिक बन जाते हैं। उन्हें अच्छा बनने हेतू , प्रेरित करने के लिए "छूट " दिए जाने जैसे प्रावधान अमल में लाये जाएं। सड़को के किनारे फलदार वृक्ष लगायें जाएँ न कि नपुंसक अ-फलदार वृक्ष । अन्यथा ऐसे ही व्यक्तियों का स्वाभाव हो जाता है। शुष्क और कठोर - फल हीन। आस पास के वातावरण और उच्च पदाधिकारियों के व्यवहार और शोषण का गहरा असर नागरिकों पर पड़ता है। शासन अगर - शोषण और शुष्कता के स्थान पर देने की भावना रख

शासन अगर - शोषण और शुष्कता के स्थान पर देने की भावना रखेगा तो नागरिक भी वैसे ही उदार- मना बनेंगे। स-शुल्क की जगह निःशुल्क पार्किंग , पेयजल , रैनबसेरे , पियाऊ , फलदार वृक्ष इत्यादि सुविधाएं अगर रखी जाएँगी तो इनका नागरिकों पर उदार प्रभाव पड़ता है । अगर कुछ शुल्क लेने की जरूरत हो तो दान -पात्र रखें जाएँ , जिसमें "ईश्वर के नाम पर" उस व्यवस्था के खर्च में सहयोग की नागरिकों से अपील की जाये। सादगी ,संयम , सदाचार को बढ़ाया जाये। विज्ञापनो और बाजार संस्कृति पर रोक हो।

When there will be sanction of new layouts for plots or colony, layout holder must to submit plan of sewage & waste management. This will stop generation of garbage & dirty water on surface.

In respect to smart city concept,business,economic,infrastructure development are OK, but, the real development of social harmony,human development,cultural development, etc.things are very important for peace,harmony and fruitfull helping nature of people.For that,there should be YOGA,SPIRITUAL,PRAYER CENTRE in CITY.There should be no crime & no accused,Jail should be paid & luxurious with all accommodation like AC,bed-sofa,pure bhojan-breakfast,TV but no mobile-net as per jail manual strictly

Sorry to blame government agencies.But sorry to say that our urban bodies are incompetent for making implementing long term plans. Better to implement PPP model with MNC for city planning and implementation. Like national highways city roads needs to be handover to companies like L&T

First of all thanks for smart city initiative.I feel it is tough task to implement smart city programming as there is no inter government coordination. 1.Before giving construction approval first roads,drainage,footpaths should be ready.Roads needs to be evaluated for long term whether they can survive. 2.Coordination between government agencies.One dept lays road,other dept immediately digs the road which is unacceptable 3.Real estate regulation bill to be passed before smart city prog
