Theme- Yoga for Unity The original Hindi term for yoga is "Yog," which means to add or combine (+). The name alone communicates the idea of unification. India should lead the world through its concept of (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) through the theme suggested above, i.e. Yoga for Unity, at this time when it is holding the chairmanship of the G-20 and SCO as well as having many Indians in higher political positions or serving as Heads of State. For the world to achieve the MDGs (previous SDGs) for health and wellness, unity is required. A healthy person is happy and productive, and this is true for nations with a healthy and content populace as well. In order to improve society, we must work to bring all countries together.
