Lenient view may be taken by competent authorities of customs in fixing fine for amending in IGM as huge fine are imposing by them which is leading delay in customs documentation by importer as liners are passing the fine to importer for payment.

Minimize customs queries either manually or in online where there is no loss of revenue to government. In case of RMS B.E. customs officials are giving queries manually which causing delay in quick customs documentation.

CTH indicated on COO. B.Es are filing with CTH indicated in COO. Customs is objecting about CTH heads although B.E. filed on higher rate of duty. Customs may examine feasibility of processing B.E. with CTH indicated on COO where B.E filed with highest rate of duty and there will be no loss of revenue to GOVT.

Following changes needed1)clearence payment online 2)effective efficient CHA process3)custom marine and prevention, DRI, ED and DGCEI work with each other and pass cases when ever required. Except DGCEI all agencies are having poor enforcement record for taking complaint to nabbing accused full thing. They want things on platter and not do hard work in field.
