Ministry of Electronics and IT has drafted a Data Centre policy to benefit the Data Centre park developers/Data Centre operators as well as the allied ecosystem of the Data Centre sector. The policy envisages making India a Global Data Centre hub, promote investment in the sector, propel digital economy growth, enable provisioning of trusted hosting infrastructure to fulfill the growing demand of the country and facilitate state of the art service delivery to citizens. This document lays out a policy framework including various structural / regulatory interventions, investment promotion in the sector, possible Incentivization mechanisms along with the institutional mechanism required for the governance. The policy framework also seeks to strengthen the recently announced “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” initiative by identifying possible opportunities of manufacturing of Data Centre equipment (IT as well as non-IT) in the country. It also identifies possible areas of participation by MSMEs and Start-ups.

The policy intends to ensure sustainable and trusted Data Centre capacity within the country. This policy framework shall be followed by a detailed scheme with implementation guideline document providing the particulars of various fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to be provided to the sector by the Central and State Government.

For the same, Ministry of Electronics and IT invites citizen suggestions on the Draft Data Center Policy 2020.
Refer to the Policy document here : Draft Data Center Policy 2020

Please send in your suggestions by 30th November 2020.

Only it can be possible to reduce the spread of Covid19 in one way and that is, - every coach has 2/3 gates in each side, now if make arrangement of pointing one gate for #Entry and another gate for #Exit and the same will outside the train as #Entry and #Exit in the opposite direction, then the crowd will be immediately decreased. The passengers will be safe, they don't have to hurry in a single gate for enter inside the train or exit in a same gate. Many lives will be saved from Covid spread

Center should draft a strict waste disposal law and guidelines applicable to all States. Post Indipendance no Government has been able to bring a law on waste disposal. Today all the Industrial and specially household waste are being disposed off by people in ponds and rivers due to no support from Govt. to dispose nonbiological waste. This speed of improper waste disposal will affect the health of every person in the country as well as make an unmanagible situation in few years time. So Please!

Sir, Data Center Policy 2020 should be strictly implemented to restrict all the unnecessary online works & also permit to store more data in 3-4 hub stages as there is no break up even any calamities occured. The Government always put Eye view on data transmission with severe structures. Our country has the capacity to host so many IT companies & its allied to do their business here & they may get benefit from here with less remunerations, facilities etc.,by providing skilled human resources

I am a resident city in GOA. What we need is really a clean atmosphere not only at home but also surroundings. Being a Senior citizon and nobody to take care I feel great difficulty. It is seen that Government take no care of sr. citizen who do not have any income or pension to support. They are afraid to go put and feel helpless.
