To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

In the present some PSU industries are came as sick position,like HMT etc. Please strengthening to this type of companies with the diversification of products and increase of government orders

I have service provider unit. I provide services to govt. Department for that i registered in msme & benifted by different scheme. Please provide more atrective scheam for contractor so we can generate the employment.

Re introduce electro plating trade in ITI.  Due to many automobile and electric manufacturing industries may no have skill and trained electro platers. Then productivity will not come in time in this industries and indirectly effect to growths of Indian industrial productivity.

In the present making of lather products are have more expensive due to its facing more charges in import and export . And they can not get any subsidies from government for smooth run this industries. So for strengthening this industries reduce import and export charges and give more subsides to them.

Sir I have a suggestion that there are a lot of vacant land which is suitable for presition farming in our country, distributed in various States. The owners of such land maybe facing financial problems for doing something on their own land. In such case the Government can introduce a plan to do some plantation there and pay a reasonable rent for the land owners. I think it will do some benefit both for the Government and the land owners.T Thank you.

Respected sir. I would draw your attention on that 1.Digital disparity between urban and rural area as well as litterate and illiterate person of our society..Take strong step to counter disparity. 2. Today we are facing jobless growth. So I request you sir to provide a more job opportunities and make growth job oriented. 3. Reform in PDS sector and provide better food choice to our people. 4. Do more for child and women.

At present Public toilet can be used for Rs.5 per usage,but for a person who earns Rs.5000 a month and has 5 members to feed cannot spend Rs.5 X 5 member X 30 days= Rs 750 (If he uses the toilet once a day which is impossible) on public toilet. This forces them to instead use alternate ways Eg road side, railway track, etc.So i would like to request you to please make public toilet free for every one and take more strict action towards their cleanliness.This would also enable "SWATCH BHARAT".

#IndianRailways plz add a mobile ticketing feature in IRCTC app for Mumbai suburban railways. The budget should include more incentives for electric and hybrid automobile makers like the one being done in China. Greater emphasis on giving renewable energy companies tax concessions for taking up big projects across India.
