A website could be started wherein citizens can bring to the notice of the authorities the fraudulent advertisements issued in newspapers etc. Consumer education should be incorporated in school syllabus. TV Advertisements creating awarness by feauturing celebrities should be continued. The newspapers should also be appealed not to publish such ads jsut for the sake of money. Journalism is a noble cause and money is not the only motive there.

If there is an action to be taken towards misleading advertisements the biggest contributor has to be the consumer. If anybody who is going to come across the misleading advertisements its the consumer. Therefore the consumer has to step ahead and report any misleading advertisement that he comes across. Government should have a separate department or give the power to act against the same to some other department/court which can be reached comfortably by the consumer

Consumer court laws should be there regarding misleading advertisements. Heavy fine should be levied on the companies for giving these type of advertisements. If Fair & Lovely does not make any one GORA (Which never happen in actual) then there should be a clear consumer court case against the company and company should be fined one year revenue from the same product.

VIGILLANCE SYSTEM : The Vigillance Commission and other simillar set up for prevention of corruption are proving to be a huge hinderance in quick decision making, expeditious implementation of projects, procurement of quality products. The complaince of CVC guidelines prevents one from buying quality product. Any way these guidelines does not stop corrupt ppl from making money but it only prevents honest ones from doing their job expeditiously and fairly.

We must do away with the distrust amongst various interest groups. We should do away with this system of compulsorily having a member of minority community, one member of SC/ST and one women representative in various Interview Boards for recruitment/promotion etc. All this was done for appeasement of respective interest groups with vote bank in mind. It creates distrust amongst various sections of the society at large.

LUX, VIM BAR, LIFEBUY, PONDS, FAIR & LOVELY, DOVE are all very high priced low quality products but selling through Advertisements only. There should be some norms regarding earning of profits of any company from a particular products. All companies are looting Indians by using the word "BRAND". Peoples foolishly chases so called BRANDS (which are actually their campaign part) and companies are making huge profits. The samples of all the products which are sold in INDIA will definitely fail.

The MNC companies are selling their products only through misleading advertisements. Bournvita "increase height and strength" Fair & Lovely, Ponds "BADHAYE GORAPAN" etc etc. Why dont they are selling their products in African countries where these are needed most. SURF EXCEL increases prices just by changing Brand name. Kabhi SURF EXCEL BLUE, kabhi SURF EXCEL CLEAN, kabhi kuch kabhi kuch. Product same but every time just make a new advt and increase prices. HINDUSTAN UNILEVER is EAST INDIA Co.
