Make a complaint against the misleading advertisement to the consumer forum and the consumer forum should verify the complaint filed and if the advertisement is found misleading, take necessary action against the advertiser like banning the advertisement, compensate the affected consumers and depending on the severity criminal prosecution of the guilty advertiser.

As long as we are passive and remain passive to confront truth we will be exploited by mis leading advertisements.we can strengthen the commission and ensure that all commercial advertisements r certified like films before release and claims of authentication mentioned

Similar to SEBI, Insurance Regulatory Authority and Telecom Regulatory authority, we should have an indpendent authority to approve all advertisements in all media through online. This will avoid the scope for corruption in political parties as well as influencial people who run TV channels who get huge sum as advertisement revenue as a source of income. This can be seen from Rs.200 crore received by Kalaighnar TV in 2G scam. Similarly Jaya TV gets huge sum from TN Govt for all its govt coverage

Good Governance.
Government should protect life, property, honour and rights of citizens.
It should not waste energy in taking up commercial activities.
Concentrate on maintaining law and order, protecting environment, providing speedy justice, creating peaceful atmosphere, simplification of laws, good education system so that children grow up with good character and social responsibility.
Corruption to be totally eliminated. Can send a separate report
for this purpose.

Barring advertisement of some products all advertisement are targeted towards very few readers maximum advertisements are just overlooked entities advertising should think over it. I think advertising products and services on street corners will be more fruitful and job creating . Most of the news papers are filled with mobile and electronics advertisement. But the purchaser First goes on line to purchase or even compare a product except for vegitables and kirana.

All advertisements given by private sector as well as public sector including State and Central Government should be got approved through online portal like regulators for Telecom, Insurance, etc. This will avoid the scope for corruption in political parties as well as influencial people who get advetisement revenue as a source of income. This is seen in 2G scam where Kalaighnar TV got Rs.200 crores. Similarly Jaya TV in Tamilnadu gets Tamilnadu Government's advertisement recordings for huge sum.

If an advertisement is misleading and if a citizen is likely thinking to take a decision on that advertisement. Just making citizen think by misleading is it not be a case of IPC 420
