Govt. should bring the act. that every advertisement should be approved by the government, as we see in elections, every vehicle should be permisible if not treated as violation of MCC. as the same if any misleading adds published in news papers, that news paper should be banned for some period as a punishment, which will be lesson to others for not publishing misleading adds.. (in all the papers they had bad practice i.e., we are not concerned to the add posted.. this should be stoped)

Persons who are aware can make their relatives and friends aware of these kind of scrupulous advertisements. There should be an e-mechanism to inform police about the same and appropriate stringent action would be taken by police to control them. These should be publicised.

Misleading advertisements should be screened and scrutinized before they are aired on national television and if the government thinks that a particular thing is misleading then it should be immediately removed and then the permission to broadcast it should be given.

It is quite often that we see misleading ads in between tv programmes i think we should be having a complain number where we can call or send sms.this no. should be toll free and respective authority should be formed to handle such issues.n immediate n strict steps should be taken as soon as the authority receives information.just like film censor board ad censor board should also be formed.and celebrities who promote such baseless products should be taxed more heavily than others.

Reporting of fraud information on Tollfree numbers, SMS based reporting and Mail ids: Recently, I received a fraud call on behalf of RBI as well few SPAM mails too, however, rightnow there is no dedicated mail ids or Tollfree numbers or SMS based reporting system. Though I tried my best locate one from net but could not able to locate. 1. Tollfree number -- landline as well Mobile for reporting about fraud calls 2. Dedicated Mail ids -- For forwarding the SPAM mails 3. Number for SMS

Film stars and Cricketers should be banned from advertising products. It's not product,s quality but personality o f a star that attracts consumers.Unless certified by Government or an institution approved by Govt.,no cine star or sports person be allowed to advertise. This aspect should be incorporated in the Consumer protection Act.Indians will get quality products and celebrities can not distort consumer choice through misleading advertisements.
