Under Smart City Mission stage 1 & 2 challenge, the Tiruppur City Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizens, stakeholders in Smart city suggestions and ideas.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process Tiruppur City Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. submission of polling forms, essay writing competition, stakeholder consultation, painting competition, submission of vision forms, social media (MyGov, Facebook, Twitter), voting(online & offline) and focus group discussions etc.

On the basis of almost 47757 (both offline and online) suggestions and votes received from Tiruppur citizens, Tiruppur City Municipal Corporation in co-operation with its consultants has prepared a Smart City Proposal document for the city which encompasses different aspirations and dreams to be realized for the integrated development of the city.

Hereby we invite all the citizens of Tiruppur to participate in this review process where they can give their opinion about these documents to make it the best Smart City Proposal.

Please provide your suggestions and feedback latest by 11th December, 2015.

All browsing centers should be instructed (or made mandatory) to support the citizens without computer knowledge in filling their cases, etc...

All houses should plant 1 tree mandatorily. Government could collect the required fees as part of the corporation tax and assist the residence in planting if there is no adequate space

Waste segregation hasn’t picked or at least I am not aware of what is happening (esp. after the Guinness record event). A daily dashboard of what is happening should be published in the newspapers just like the weather forecast, share and gold prices.
