Varanasi has been selected by MoUD, GoI under Smart City Mission Phase-I 100 cities. In the next phase, Varanasi has to compete with 98 other cities from across the country to make it into the Top 20 cities.
Citizens and stakeholders of Varanasi are requested to post their views and suggestions on the Smart Vision Statement for Varanasi to be developed as Smart City. The solutions, suggestions & views should reflect the Vision of the City.
Vision:

“To revive the Glory of Varanasi by conserving and promoting its heritage and protecting its cultural and traditional environs to boost tourism and employment, provide quality urban services, accountable governance to enhance the quality of life of citizen”

hmari city ko smart bnane ke liye sbse phle to jis trh baki city me traffic signal hai vaise hi hmari city me bi road pe traffic signal hona chahiye....from this way our city will look standered and smart...

शहर को स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है की खुदाई पर आपसी संपर्क बनाना जैसे, Varanasi मैं हर जगह खुदाई का काम ज़्यदा देखने को मिलता है रोड बंता है फिर खोद दिया जाता है ओर खोदने के बाद महीनो तक खुदा पड़ा रेहता है जिस की वजह से रोज़ कई हादसे होते है इसका मूल कारण है विभागो मैं आपसी तालमेल न होना, नगर निगम रोड बनाता है तो टेलीफ़ोन विभाग या ओर भी कई ऐसे विभाग हैं जो दोबारा रोड को खोद देते हैं ओर सबसे बड़ी बात तो यह है रोड खोदने की पर्मिशन भी नहीं ली जाती है

You don’t have to worry about parking your car. Once you enter the city, you will be alerted on your mobile about the available parking slot. In an emergency you will get an alert from the city command center.

हर बस्ती ओर मोहल्ले मैं स्ट्रीट लाइट हो, जिसका मैंटेनेंस समय समय पर किया जाता रहे।
