Varanasi has been selected by MoUD, GoI under Smart City Mission Phase-I 100 cities. In the next phase, Varanasi has to compete with 98 other cities from across the country to make it into the Top 20 cities.
Citizens and stakeholders of Varanasi are requested to post their views and suggestions on the Smart Vision Statement for Varanasi to be developed as Smart City. The solutions, suggestions & views should reflect the Vision of the City.
Vision:

“To revive the Glory of Varanasi by conserving and promoting its heritage and protecting its cultural and traditional environs to boost tourism and employment, provide quality urban services, accountable governance to enhance the quality of life of citizen”

बस एक बात मुझे अखरती है वो है यहां की कानून व यातायात व्‍यवस्‍था एक हेलमेट का कानून यहां लागू नहीं हो सका इसके आगे हम क्‍या सोचें

cleanliness and Waste Management is,now days, the most challenging task in Raipur City for becoming Smart City. Govt and people should aware in all aspect weather its about environment or political or development.

स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए सरकार को पहल करनी चाहिए।यह शहर विश्व मानचित्र पर अपनी एक पहचान रखता है।अतः यहाँ पर विश्व स्तरीय सुविधाएँ होनी चाहिए।

I think first stop the Tabbacco & polybags , setup of toilets at every crossing. And roads should be cleaned & proper .

शहर को स्मार्टेस्ट बनाने हेतु प्रदूषण हो, कड़ा कानून हो, विजली पानी हो, रोड़ चोड़ी एवँ अच्छे से रख रखाव हो, स्वच्छता हो, ग्रीन सिटी हो, अधिक कूड़ेदान की व्यवस्था हो, पशुपालकों को चिन्हित कर गंदगी करने पर दण्डका प्रावधान हो

Technology driven Solid Waste Management (addressing largely cost effectiveness, capacity utilization, environment building, professional M&E) 2. Traffic Management (Using Mobile App for real time solutions) 3. Urban infrastructure Management 4. Grievance redressal system"

To maintain our surrounding as clean like proper need to our waste product like rubbish.It must maintain the members of ward of councilor of the entire town.
