Varanasi has been selected by MoUD, GoI under Smart City Mission Phase-I 100 cities. In the next phase, Varanasi has to compete with 98 other cities from across the country to make it into the Top 20 cities.
Citizens and stakeholders of Varanasi are requested to post their views and suggestions on the Smart Vision Statement for Varanasi to be developed as Smart City. The solutions, suggestions & views should reflect the Vision of the City.
Vision:

“To revive the Glory of Varanasi by conserving and promoting its heritage and protecting its cultural and traditional environs to boost tourism and employment, provide quality urban services, accountable governance to enhance the quality of life of citizen”

varanasi city has big issues of garbage there is no proper management of finishing garbage due to this people spread the garbage on road side and shiver the result is shiver is being jam . so first issues should be cleanness without arrangement of finishing garbage people are helpless for ...

Technology driven Solid Waste Management (addressing largely cost effectiveness, capacity utilization, environment building, professional M&E) 2. Traffic Management (Using Mobile App for real time solutions) 3. Urban infrastructure Management 4. Grievance redressal system" from DALIMSS ROHANIA

We have to replace our street lights with LED. This will definitly lower our consumptions of electricity. It is a great opportunity for citizen of Varanasi So do't miss this opportunity & share your views Please "lets come together to make our city smart.. We have already submitted offline feedback in detail, still interlligent transport network is choice. all employees should be smart employee and their would be smart and salary too. They should deserved smart facility. A City never be a Smart City without participation of citizen. We need to have the pavements free from encroachments. There is no "smartness" in a so called smart-city if the citizens cannot walk. Shubham By Dalimss

शहर में सीएनजी सिटी बसें चलाई जाये | इ सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराइ जाये | वाई फाई जैसे साधनो को बढ़ावा दिया जाना चाहिए शहर में गैर पारम्परिक ऊर्जा स्त्रोतों को प्रोत्साहन की आवश्यकता है | जल अपव्यय करने वालो पर जुरमाना लगाना चाहिए | शहर की का सौन्दर्योिकरन होना चाहिए सरकारी कार्य समय पर पूर्ण होना चाहिए | एवं सरकारी कर्मचारियों द्वारा नियमो का पूर्ण रूप से पालन होना चाहिए | Shubham By Dalimss
