outlets for pizzas burgers carbonated drinks can be reduced...instead sale of natural juices can be encouraged(drinks like maaza,nimbu paani)....fine even if companies manufacturing carbonated drinks are sealed...snacks made of millets(like raagi,maize etc other than maida)can be made available in more outlets....as done tamil nadu ,suya udavi kulu by women can be deployed for such work in more number in states for preparing healthy harmless homemade snacks...advantage of this can be understood

in public places like bus stands ,railway stations more number of instant water purifiers of mega size can be installed...this will enable public to get purified water at nominal cost,reduce usage/manufacture of use and throw pet bottles,will give employment for an unemployed / a physically challanged youth:by surekha

waste water to be billed instead of fresh water Car Population has to be restricted to avoid traffic, parking space and fuel consumption Public transport with separate track should be done in every city like Ahmadabad Energy saving Tips to be printed in all electrical items packing Free electricity consumption to be accounted and statement to be send if more than stipulated to avoid misuse

Solar heater/energy generator with battery installed on buildings from nagarsevak nidhi. Energy conservation is essential in this present era to sustain its resources from degrade ability.Planet earth has given us many things for example metals are extracted from the earths crust for many applications.Water is an desirable daily need, without it we can't even think to lead our daily life. So we must take initiative to conserve water by many ways one of which is rain water harvesting.Coming to air is also vital not to pollute in any form.Above things need to be adopted urgently.

Enforce water harvesting system and solar system for all houses in cities. Improve public transport, that will reduce private vehicles. Work on metros (atleast in bangalore) are very slow. Work on some public transport that is solar enabled, there is so much power we can harness from it, but dont see this really in any government agenda. Why don't we allow subsidy on electric vehicles, even if they are from other countries. Remove all the import duties on electric vehicles.

For good fuel efficiency in commercial vehicles,fishing boats load test to be conducted on vehicles on test rig with cargo loaded to check the efficiency of the engine which will be indicative on actual mileage of the vehicle and savings for the owner.The same case with boats the thrust developed by propeller with load for better economics for the fisherman.Healthier engine's can save country valuable foreign exchange and save environment.proper guidelines by experts required

Our country being a tropical country .The AC usage is high that too in summer .Energy conservation could be enormous if insulation on the walls is provided both in houses and offices .There's no proper guidelines both from Ac manufacturers,Govt agencies on energy lost due to poor insulation.Thermal imaging which is state of the art in understanding the energy lost very few engineers consultants are in this field.This can create employment for young engineers as well save energy .
