6.7 Aadhar, PAN and mobile #, address will be crucial information of a citizen This will help to locate, communicate a citizen and relate with various aspects to bring in accountability and assist in governance. Effort will be required to be done to maintain accuracy and validity of this. • after submission of change of information request, Aadhar site should display time to completion of request. • It should also show statistics of Pending # of requests

6.6 Deeper and wider Aadhar penetration to help take advantage of UID 6.6.10 Online application filing for Aadhar – in Aadhar data entry lot of mistakes have been made by the data entry operators at the time of registration – To avoid such let the user fill up form sitting at home and submit into the system. At the registration center, all the operator need to do is verify information in the system with supporting documents, take signature, biometrics.

6.6 Deeper and wider Aadhar penetration to help take advantage of UID 6.6.9 Allow Banks to create Aadhar IDs for its account holders. Give banks authority to accept change requests like address and phone number. (This will help to make easy for citizens to update their addresses and contact details when they change)

6.6 Deeper and wider Aadhar penetration to help take advantage of UID 6.6.7 Disconnect/Surrender of mobile number should implement e-KYC like mechanism to check with Aadhar database. If the number is specified in the Aadhar, customer should be informed by the telecom service provider to update number in Aadhar. 6.6.8 UIDAI should periodically send SMS to registered mobiles to confirm their address and reply with simple confirmations.
