tackling black money hard and I'm so grateful for it. What about a less cash related society? I believe more domestic credit card companies are to be set up so that we don't have to rely on foreign credit card suppliers and keep such data in domestic hands? If we can find a way to reduce cash velocity and cycling in the economy, corruption would decrease (as you know), more taxes would be collected hopefully, and better practices followed?? Overhauling the tax code is already underway.....

my revenue goes up, so does my working capital loan and A/R director. So where am I going with this? Yes we have a black money problem but I think its a lot more ingrained in our society than at the political levels to the point that people would think so far to keep reporting looking good yet having off the books transactions that can only happen due to cash. I guess same goes for Real Estate transactions that are significantly transacted in cash to avoid taxes? Of course, our Gov't is.....

a friend of mine, who is also a director on another firm (who can use my firm's services or goods). The deal is..I pay him funds (off the books) equivalent to the amount of sales I want him to buy from my firm so that my firm can raise revenue and meet a certain target margin on those goods. So first S/T Loans and cash went up, the A/R Director went up, cash down. Then Revenue up, COGS up, and Gross Profit up and CASH up. So nobody can say that the earnings quality isn't good but now as......

Good evening; I am in the middle of exploring a few different investment opps in various cities in India and through my initial due diligence, I've learned about a very common practice that I have never come across in my nascent career; "Paying for profits." Apparently, if I'm the Director of a firm and want to hit a certain revenue/EBITDA target, I can use a bank loan from my firm to make a loan to myself (director). Then I use the cash (in my personal possession) to strike a deal with....

SIR reduce the salaries of TOBA TAKE SINGH WHO FEELS THAT EARNING FIFTY RUPEES IS A SIGN OF RICH PERSON AND , first step you have already taken is abolishing PLANNING COMMISSION. MY heartiest congratulations. SECONDLY CEO;S OF FCI , AND GAIL , AND PETROLEUM INSTITUTIONS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO SURVIVE ON COMMISSION OR ON FIFTY PERCENT SALARY. ALSO BSF COMMANDERS AT BORDERS SHOULD BE CHECKED ON SIMILAR LINES WHO ARE ALLOWEING OUTSIDERS TO BECOME CITIZENS HERE. THANKS RAJESH SHARMA

Thousands of crores of rupees are kept in locker by people in the country. RBI should issue directive to all banks not to allow customers of bank locker to keep hard cash in locker. If above suggestion is implemented then there are chances that tjis money will be deployed in banks which will help to improve economy

Reduce the size of CPWD to 25% its current strength 1. The buildings constructed under supervision of CPWD looks like slum. 2. They are hardly doing any repair work. There helpline numbers you can lodge a complaint , but they never attend to these complaints. 3. projects which the pvt sector does in 2 years , CPWD will get it done in 4 years, thanks to the corruption and ineffciency. 4.Gov officers have to spend huge money on repair from own pocket, forcing them to be dishonest.

Fact is Air India is surviving not because it is needed , but because successive bunch of bureaucrats and politicians are using it as a milking cow. Surprisingly for its survival gov , has made a rule that all central gov employees must travel by Air India alone, this is a totally monopolistic practice and is grossly illegal. If gov is serious about expenditure management, privatise Air India. Keep a small fleet of Air craft for Gov work. Will this post reach Hon PM? I doubt.

The biggest problem is Government getting into unwanted sectors where private sector can do an efficient job. One example is that of Air India. There is no reason as to why Gov should waste its Crores of taxpayers money on a sector where Private sector is doing an excellent job. In fact by putting up Air India with huge subsidy , Gov is killing private airline industry. As some of the private airline companies become sick thanks to low price tickets offered by Air India

a. 100% online interactions for all public (Govt/PSU) services b. Receipts & Disbursal via Net banking, Credit/Debit Cards, Intermediaries c. Government to exit all Non Core functions & focus only on areas where ONLY Governments can deliver d. If PSUs is required for strategic purpose in any area; then merge PSUs & drive 6 sigma efficiency to deliver goods/services better & cheaper than anyone. e. All other PSUs to be made independent & self sustaining with no drain on public funds
