कई वेक्टर जनित रोग आर्थोपोड्स (मच्छर, टिक्स, कण आदि) के द्वारा संचरित होते हैं तथा भारत में मलेरिया, डेंगी, चिकनगुनिया, फाइलेरियारोग और कालाजार के नाम से व्याप्त हैं। ये रोग जन स्वास्थ्य के लिए गम्भीर समस्या बन गए हैं। इन रोगों के निवारण और नियन्त्रण हेतु राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रमों को सामाजिक स्तर सहित सभी स्तरों पर लागू किया गया है और आवश्यक कार्यवाही की जा रही है। इस मंच के माध्यम से स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान विभाग और भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद द्वारा इन वेक्टर जनित रोगों के बेहतर निवारण, नियंत्रण और उपचार के लिए नीतियों में सुधार किए जाने के लिए अनुसंधान के माध्यम से परीक्षण किए जाने के लिए सुझाव, विचार, सर्वोत्तम तरीके नवीनकारी विचार आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

With the spread of Swine flu like an epidemic Govt. should take steps for effective vaccination as done in the case of Polio. This year the disease has taken a toll of over one thousand lives. But the central and state health departments are not registering their presence.

Make all muncipal labour force incharge of garbage collection and sweeping roads wear masks n gloves. They are the first victim to these virus and are equally responsibly for taking it to every household n street. Give them preventive meds first. This list of labour force must Also include drivers of such vehicle.#VectorBorneDiseases

1. Spread awareness in local people about the disease and give incentives to workers in local municipalities and panchayats if disease is controlled faster. 2. Encourage R& D about diseases prevelant in local universities. 3. Share private expertise with government labs 4. Give incentives or concessions to private institutions for support

सभी से निवेदन है जब आप छोटी होलिका दहन में जो भुनने जाये तो कम से कम एक डिब्बा कपूर और छोटी इलायची साथ मैं जलाएं क्योंकि कपूर और इलायची की खुसबू से स्वाइन फ्लू का वायरस मर जाता है और होली पुरे देश मैं मनाई जाती है एक साथ पुरे देश मैं इतना कपूर जलाने पे स्वाइन फ्लू का 70% वायरस हवा मैं ही खत्म हो जाएगा इस सन्देश को सब तक पहुचाये और देश को इस फ्लू से बचाएं ।

Swine flue spreads in a particular temperature range more quickly. If The positive paitents and suspected patients are kept in an isolated temperaure controlled environment which is not conducive for the spread of virus.Be it hight temperature or low temperature environment the disease can be effectively tackeled and controlled. For vector borne diseases cleanliness drive among masses is required. School are Ist to be touched. Classes for risk factors for Individual health and well being to run.

This is also true for control of all vector borne diseases.

It is seen that in colonies there is no proper drainage system street drains can be seen blocked water overflowing in the streets best example in my area is east chawla colony of Ballabgarh Faridabad. Street drains are always blocked and full of water and gurgaon canal flowing close to the colony.best place for mosquito breeding.Technical problems behind this must be watched by authorities and people responsilbe for housekeeping must be taken tightly.
