Respected Sir/Madam,
My name is Gurumurthachar, and I am writing to humbly request that our Eco-Friendly Ganesha Idol Making Workshop initiative be considered for mention in Mann Ki Baat.
For the past several years, through our team at Parisara Art Foundation, we have been conducting awareness workshops and hands-on training in making eco-friendly clay Ganesha idols in Bangalore and nearby districts. Our mission is to reduce water pollution and discourage Plaster of Paris idols, promoting green celebrations during Ganesh Chaturthi.
Every year, we engage students, families, and volunteers, reaching thousands of people, especially youth. We are planning to scale this initiative to more districts across Karnataka, with the aim of reaching over 5k participants in 2025.
We believe this cause strongly aligns with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision for sustainable India, environmental awareness, and community-driven change.
so that more citizens feel inspired to adopt

If government schools are upgraded with smart classrooms, well-trained teachers, libraries, and sports and cultural facilities—like in Kendriya Vidyalayas—there will be no need for private schools at all. All children, whether rich or poor, should have equal access to the best education. Regular teacher training, value-based learning, emotional well-being, and opportunity for student and teacher growth should be prioritized. Teachers must feel respected, secure, and inspired. Students must feel proud to study in a government institution. Sir, I know reforms are not easy—but I believe in your courage and vision. If these changes are implemented, India will not only progress in economy and technology but also in humanity, values, and real empowerment. Please consider this heartfelt request from a teacher, a citizen, and a hopeful Indian. With deep respect and gratitude, Pooja Pathak

Parents are forced to choose between expensive private schools and neglected government ones, leading to a growing divide in educational opportunity. Another serious concern is the status of the teaching profession in India. On the ground, becoming a teacher is not seen as a proud or desirable job. Many choose this profession as a last resort. Sir, this is a dangerous trend. A teacher shapes the mind and character of a nation. If we do not value and empower our teachers, we are compromising our country’s future. I humbly propose that teaching should be made a prestigious and high-ranking profession—a “Class A” government job—with tough eligibility exams and professional training, just like UPSC or defense services. Only the best minds and most passionate hearts should be allowed to educate our youth. Moreover, I strongly feel that the entire education system should be under the government’s control. If government schools are upgraded with smart classrooms, well-trained teachers, librar

Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, Pranam. I am Pooja Pathak, a concerned citizen deeply worried about the condition of our nation’s education system. I write with faith in your visionary leadership and a sincere appeal for bold reforms in the education sector. Sir, at the ground level, the condition of many government schools is heartbreaking. Buildings are dilapidated, classrooms are overcrowded, and basic facilities like clean drinking water, proper toilets, and safe furniture are often missing. These schools resemble ruins, not places of learning. How can we expect our children to dream big when their learning environment itself limits them? At the same time, private schools are rapidly increasing. Unfortunately, most are profit-driven—fcusing more on fees and branding than on the real quality of education. Parents are forced to choose between expensive private schools and neglected government ones, leading to a growing divide in educational opportunity. Another serious co

India faces a complex situation with deforestation. While there have been efforts to increase forest cover through afforestation, significant loss of natural and primary forests continues, driven largely by:
* Infrastructure and Development: Road construction, mining, dam projects, and urban expansion.
* Agriculture: Conversion of forest land for farming to feed a growing population.
* Illegal Logging: Demand for timber.
The impacts are severe, including:
* Biodiversity Loss: Destruction of habitats for countless species, many endangered.
* Climate Change: Release of stored carbon, contributing to global warming.
* Soil Degradation: Erosion and loss of fertile topsoil.
* Water Cycle Disruption: Altered rainfall patterns and increased water scarcity.

Despite advancements, challenges in human development include:
* Inequality: Significant regional and social disparities persist in access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
* Quality of Education: While access has improved, the quality of education and learning outcomes, especially in public schools, needs further enhancement.
* Malnutrition and Health Outcomes: Though progress is made, malnutrition remains a concern, and public health infrastructure in some areas needs strengthening.
* Employability: Bridging the skill gap between the workforce and industry demands remains crucial for sustainable employment.
In essence, India is actively pursuing both infrastructure and human development. While significant strides have been made, sustained effort, inclusive policies, and addressing existing challenges are crucial for achieving comprehensive and equitable progress across the nation.
