शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के आस-पास तंबाकू और नशीले पदार्थों की बिक्री पर कठोर रोक लगाने हेतु आग्रह 1. COTPA कानून की धारा 6(ख) के अंतर्गत सभी राज्यों में 100 गज के क्षेत्र में तंबाकू बिक्री पर कड़ाई से प्रतिबंध सुनिश्चित किया जाए। 2. प्रत्येक शैक्षणिक संस्थान के बाहर स्पष्ट सूचना पट्ट (साइन बोर्ड) लगाए जाएँ जिनमें लिखा हो कि "विद्यालय के 100 गज के दायरे में तंबाकू और नशीले पदार्थ बेचना अपराध है।" 3. स्थानीय पुलिस और प्रशासन द्वारा नियमित निरीक्षण और छापे मारे जाएँ ताकि इस कानून का पालन हो। 4. विद्यार्थियों के बीच नशे के दुष्परिणामों को लेकर जागरूकता अभियान और शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम चलाए जाएँ। 5. एक राष्ट्रीय अभियान की शुरुआत की जाए, जैसे स्वच्छ भारत मिशन, ताकि स्कूलों के आसपास का वातावरण पूर्ण रूप से नशा-मुक्त बन सके।

Sir, I always try to send innovative suggestions for Mann Ki Baat and I do send them. I have not sent a single meaningless suggestion till date. Still, why is this not discussed in Mann Ki Baat? I am not able to understand where I am going wrong.

Sir, now a days the level of depression among the students is increasing gradually. it's a matter to thing . we all have seen the news of soumyashree bisi of balasore, odisha self immolation case. so I think there should a separate team in higher education department to look after these matter. There should be a motivation class in college studies. one subject cam be added like ethics and self values in plus 2 and graduation level also. The students are unable to analyse their value . They are just thinking about marks and career, when someone does not do this thing upto marl, she or he is committing suicide. Many factors in the college premises increasing the mark of depression. The principal of the college should look Seriously into these kind of matters. THE ICC which are acting in the college should add one motivational speaker or spiritual leader of that area. The teachers who will be in the team must be students friendly with a good character . after all life matters alot.
