Jai Hind! Decreasing organic carbon levels in soil leads to low efficiency of fertilizer by 28% for urea and 40% for DAP ( as Ministry of fertilizers data) , Suppose farmers are using 100 kg urea, only 28 kg is absorbed by plants and rest is polluting soil & environment. Lots of government subsidy, farmers money and environment pollution. To preserve our soil , farmers need to use cowdung along with organic carbon , help in increase efficiency of NPK fertilizers, crop yield will increased by 10-15 and best part our soil preserved, 30 years back organic carbon content of Indian soil was 3-5 mg per kg and now days it is just 0.1-0.3 mg per kg. The moment it becoms zero means we can declare that land barren. Its alarming situation.
