Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, in Karnataka State has been selected by the Ministry of Urban Development as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the “Smart City” Challenge Stage-2 by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India.

pl. acquire 500 acres land in Mishrikoti and another 500acres at Varur of Dharwad district for setting up of Industrial Corridor which is selected Mumbai-Hubballi-Bengaluru for industrial corridor. Said 500 acres is may require for central govt military project another 500 acres at varur is to be used for Industrial estate purpose to get jobs for youths which will benefit to it's citizens as well as governments.
