The Municipal Corporation Tirupati is pleased to inform you that our city has been selected under Round 2 for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). ...

The Municipal Corporation Tirupati is pleased to inform you that our city has been selected under Round 2 for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). Round 2 of smart cities challenge is been provided to 54 cities to upgrade their proposals whose city is not covered in the list of 20. Tirupati is one of them! In this phase, our city has to compete with 54 other cities, enhance our proposal and become eligible for funding in 2016-17.

The city needs to refine its vision, strategic focus, mission and a proposal based upon Gap assessment and suggestions received from panel of expert and MoUD. We urge you to share your ideas and be an integral part of the journey towards making Tirupati a smart city! Read the Draft Smart City Proposal

Proposal with equal importance at all four corners should be considered by collecting inputs from various walks of life. Priority should be for pilgrim facilities like basically number of toilets, good infrastructure, proper maintained roads for pedestrians and easy flow of traffic movement roads. Localites should be provided facilities at all four corners of the town with equal importance as per Zone.

Tirupati Deity is the richest diety in the world with least effort in development of its people around. With the offerings or return on deposits, schools / universities / hospital / and house for slum dwellers can be constructed and city can be adored with essence of neat and clean and educated, disciplined people. Further offerings can go in the construction of its capital at Amravati. Moreover, Tirupati's laddoos counter / kiosk can be opened throughout nation wide which can be blessing to all

My proposal is to setup a ropecar based transportation for taking tourists from Tirupathi to Tirumala. Advantages of this means of transportation is: 1. It doesn't need more space and also it is easy to setup and as well as to maintain it. 2. This means of transportation is world wide popular and as Tirumala has a wide forest cover it attracts tourists in more numbers. 3. Moreover easy to operate and also eco-freindly and reduces the level of pollution in Tirumala

in my village same govt tekedhars forsing a farmers for sell his fram land in this time no pharmer and no fram land for farmming pls stop sell farmmars from land sell stoping now that same for bjp part atal niwash is not provaide some poor mens be couse a word parshad are sell that atal niwas to same andor satets mans

the darshan system after entering into dudhas thambam to main deity entrance is to be regulated properly till then and after the main deity entrance no problem the in between place near that varadhraja permual sannidhi has be regulated please at the last just before 5 min to darshan we are getting disturbed like anything and unnecessary scolding . please do look into it and do something constructively
