Kota has been selected in the list of 100 Smart Cities announced in August 2015. Currently, Kota Nagar Nigam is in process of preparing the Smart City Proposal, which would form the basis for selecting the First 20 Smart Cities – for implementation from 2016. The Smart City Proposal is your proposal – the voice of Kota. We request each and every citizen of Kota to share his / her suggestions for pan-city developments in Kota.

Pan city initiatives are smart solutions that benefit the entire city by improving one or more elements of city infrastructure, services or governance.

We request the citizens to suggest the top priority pan city solution to be taken up for Kota smart City. An indicative list of broad segments of smart solutions is as follows:

• Smart Solid Waste Management
• Smart Utilities
• Smart Buses for Public Transport
• Smart Traffic and Parking Solutions
• E-governance
• Centralized Command & Control Center
• Smart Surveillance and Safety Solutions

Citizens may also suggest any other innovative ideas / solutions which they feel may have a wide-spread impact improving the quality of life of most of the citizens across the city.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 4th December, 2015.

Citizens can also reach us through the official website: www.smartcitykota.com which is a nodal site for Kota for all information on the Smart City Challenge.

Respected sir, namaskar, Ajmer Municipal crp. is n0t w0rking 0n smart city prject, there are n0 resp0nce 0f query 0r suggessi0ns. faceb00k page amaizingajmer is als0 in same pr0blem ... instead 0f citizen partnership was g00d ... s0 plz distribute the job in different different Authority. thanks you.

Sir, We should sooner organize a seminar among the people who participate in this event with their suggestions to make Kota like a Smart city. and provide them an opportunity to explain how their suggestion could be implemented in their opinion. We all know that written part have less exposure than verbal explanation. The one main problem for students like me in Kota is waste and sewage. Usually people who runs small mess don't no waste management. They should be informed on how to dispose waste. Sir there are no public dustbins because of which people throw waste here and there which makes city dirty and unhealthy. If bins are there at frequent places people will help in making city clean and healthy and hence supporting swach bharat abhiyan.

सेवा में, श्रीमान संयोजक महोदय, स्मार्ट सिटी परियोजना, कोटा. हमारा कोटा कभी एक कोट के अंदर बसता था, आज विस्तार हुआ और बाहर तक फैल गया है. हम अपनी परम्परा को कायम रखते हुए आओ कोटा का कोट बनाए, अपना शहर स्मार्ट बनाए. आज हमारा यह कोट ऊंची बेरीकेट वाला रिंग रोड होगा. for complete proposal, please refer attached PDF file.
