Kota has been selected in the list of 100 Smart Cities announced in August 2015. Currently, Kota Nagar Nigam is in process of preparing the Smart City Proposal, which would form the basis for selecting the First 20 Smart Cities – for implementation from 2016. The Smart City Proposal is your proposal – the voice of Kota. We request each and every citizen of Kota to share his / her suggestions for pan-city developments in Kota.

Pan city initiatives are smart solutions that benefit the entire city by improving one or more elements of city infrastructure, services or governance.

We request the citizens to suggest the top priority pan city solution to be taken up for Kota smart City. An indicative list of broad segments of smart solutions is as follows:

• Smart Solid Waste Management
• Smart Utilities
• Smart Buses for Public Transport
• Smart Traffic and Parking Solutions
• E-governance
• Centralized Command & Control Center
• Smart Surveillance and Safety Solutions

Citizens may also suggest any other innovative ideas / solutions which they feel may have a wide-spread impact improving the quality of life of most of the citizens across the city.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 4th December, 2015.

Citizens can also reach us through the official website: www.smartcitykota.com which is a nodal site for Kota for all information on the Smart City Challenge.

We can make kota a smart city by making a digital centrilisation of information where we get all the information about all the schemes and fill all formsonline .provide wifi. we should a app of public transport (include local buses, autoes etc.)info booking and vehicle tracking is done . through this app police will get help in reducing crime . people will have less inconvenience while travelling in any part of kota. full vages will be to driver whole transportation will be organised and record

To make KOTA a smart city there should be wifi's available at every place like railway stations,bus station,malls,restaurants so that people will get access to internet anytime it wil help tourists also they can book hotel rooms from anywhere in the city can get directions to places they want to visit

cleanliness should be maintained.roads should be maintained.reqirements of malls and cinemalls should be increased.police protection for girls should be improved.goverment hospitals should be clean and have trained doctors avalaible 24 hours.garbage decomposing facality should be improved.parks and public places should be cleaned daily.seprate comunity shouid be made to take care of city daliy report should be sent to nagar nigam office.officers should be very srict towards cleanliness.....
