Panaji is selected as the Smart City in Goa under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), GoI’s Smart City Mission. Panaji is required to formulate its own unique vision, mission and plan under ‘Smart City Challenge’. The Proposal shall be prepared in consultation with the stakeholders of the city. Corporation of City of Panaji urges all the citizens of Goa to share their opinion and area of improvement to make “Panaji” a Smart City.

Tourists don't visit Panaji City for it's infrastructure. Making the transport smarter and convenient will add-up to the beauty of this city. Developing 'Concrete Jungles' will just change it's identity. Aspects like, smart signals, vehicle tracking system are the essentials to make Panaji the ideal smart city. Promoting local businesses and adventure sports, developing some Unique Fun Clubs like Snow World for other sports which are not available currently in Goa will add the greatness.

is selected as the Smart City in kohima,nagaland under the Ministry of Urban Development Smart City Mission. kohima town is required to formulate its own unique vision, mission and plan under ‘Smart City Challenge’. The Proposal shall be prepared in consultation with the stakeholders of the city. Corporation of City of kohima urges all the citizens of kohima,nagaland to share their opinion and area of improvement to make “kohima” a Smart City.

Goa needs to continue being an "Urban Village" instead of becoming a "Concrete Jungle" like other metros. Weekly garbage collection & composting of organic waste. Currently no way to dispose household garbage so residents burn their garbage including plastics. Traffic rules enforcement. Roads are narrow in the interiors but that doesn't deter rash driving. The Goan reported that there are only 2 traffic lights in the entire state one at Porvorim and the other near Dabolim.
