The things to focus 1.Waste Management- we polluted Uyakondan canal completely, it has become like coovum river . the starting step is to clean it and educate the people to avoid waste dumping in water bodies. 2.Tiruchy has many ponds and small lakes, all are filled with slits and Prosopis juliflora( சீமைக்கருவேலை).we have to restore all lakes from these unwanted trees and ensure its clearance from our lands 3.this comment is common to all places in India. We dont have proper road lanes.

A city is not smart until it manages its waste well. Waste management process should be decentralised and locality based, quick and real time. It is surprising to note that 70% of waste is organic in nature & can be reprocessed before it becomes waste or, thereafter, can be recycled in a sustainable manner. We have invented a Green Waste Reprocessor machine which re‐process all green reject and converts it into valuable by‐products. More details can be found on www.cleanindiatech.com #MyGov

Six types of investments are required immediately for achieving green smart cities, and thus ensuring the long-term survival of the urban environment: (i) low-carbon transport systems; (ii) a green industrial sector; (iii) energy-efficient buildings; (iv) greening of the city itself; (v) green, resilient infrastructure; and (vi) intelligent systems

Specific measures for reducing the amount of waste generated by rapid urban growth have not been encouraging. These measures include encouraging the burning of clean coal, substitution of natural gas for other fuels, and use of public transport, as well as subsidies that reward environmentally responsible behavior.
