Dense, mixed use and pedestrian focused planning will help make our cities economic engines, job creators, safe, healthy and equitable. Urbanizing in an efficient manner provides a valuable opportunity to drive economic growth and improve standard of living for our millions of citizens.

1)Garbage near Ariyamangalam should be shifted to outer part of the city.It gets fired up frequently & smoke from it affects the nearby school children 2)Buses from chatram to tiruverumbur or thuvakudi should be diverted through east boulevard so that traffic in the market will be reduced 3)thanjavur highway roads should be enlarged and service road should be provided to avoid deaths due to road accident 4)Student should study in cbse board rather than in state board to get a smart education

TRAFFIC CONTROL IN THE CITY (4) 3. All the roads with 90 degree curve, should have one speed breaker. For example there are 2 speed breakers worth mentioning here. 1. Speed breaker at CSI Mission Hospital road 2. Speed breaker in front of Vasan Medicals near General Hospital (GH) They are placed very suitably and that is helpful. Similar to this many places the speed breakers to be introduced TO AVOID ACCIDENTS.

TRAFFIC CONTROL IN THE CITY (3) So, NOBODY to take action and control the 2 wheeler traffic in the city. To take care of this more SPEED BREAKERS and more SIGNALS to be introduced in the main roads. As a rule, we have to follow as given below to reduce the accidents and control the speed. 1. All the 4 road junctions, should have traffic signals and at least 2 speed breakers, in any of the 2 roads (out of 4) 2. All the 3 road junctions, should have at least one speed breaker.

TRAFFIC CONTROL IN THE CITY (2) TWO WHEELER TRAFFIC is HORRIBLE in the city. So-many two wheeler drive the vehicle beyond 60 KMs speed and they drive very harshly and it is dangerous for them also and the pedestrians also. Police department does not take any action on this subject. In fact once I asked the Traffic Constable on duty and I got a strange reply. They mentioned that we need not take any action, since they will soon go to HOSPITAL when they drive like this.

TRAFFIC CONTROL IN THE CITY (1) As on today the road condition is NOT ALRIGHT for even 100 meters. Majority of the road is uneven. At the same time the road is narrow and it is unable to take the growing vehicle traffic load. SPEED LIMIT SIGN BOARDS to be installed in many parts of the city. As on today no vehicle is able to go more than 20 to 30 KMs speed. So, accordingly, the sign board to be displayed as “maximum speed of 20 to 40 KMs” depending on the place.
